Parle Agro has reported a strong rise in profit for the financial year ended March 2025, even as revenue growth remained steady.
The company said its consolidated net profit rose to ₹115.38 crore in FY25, compared with ₹17.3 crore in the previous year. Revenue from operations increased by 5{3ed7819c3563dca85364f9c966d48c284cd3d43c23a196a6bbb99b5b9eebb247} to ₹3,284.13 crore, based on financial data available from business intelligence platform Tofler.
Profit rises as costs stay under control
Parle Agro’s total income, including other income, stood at ₹3,370.14 crore in FY25, up 5{3ed7819c3563dca85364f9c966d48c284cd3d43c23a196a6bbb99b5b9eebb247} from the year before. Total expenses rose only slightly, increasing by 0.8{3ed7819c3563dca85364f9c966d48c284cd3d43c23a196a6bbb99b5b9eebb247} to ₹3,221.39 crore.
Advertising and promotion spending fell during the year. The company spent ₹256.83 crore on ads in FY25, down from ₹278.38 crore in FY24, a drop of nearly 8{3ed7819c3563dca85364f9c966d48c284cd3d43c23a196a6bbb99b5b9eebb247}.
The company operates in the Indian beverage market and owns brands such as Frooti, Appy, SMOODH, and Bailley. It remains an unlisted company led by Prakash J Chauhan.
Domestic market remains key
Most of Parle Agro’s income came from within India. Domestic sales were recorded at ₹3,214.27 crore during FY25. Export revenue remained limited at ₹30.07 crore for the year.
The figures show that local demand continues to be the main driver of the company’s business.
