Bio Petro Clean receives Frost & Sullivan 2025 customer value award for pharma water systems in India

Bio Petro Clean receives Frost & Sullivan 2025 customer value award for pharma water systems in India

New Delhi, December 24, 2025: Bio Petro Clean (BPC), a water and wastewater treatment firm, has received Frost & Sullivan’s 2025 Customer Value Leadership award for smart water solutions used in India’s pharmaceutical sector, the company said in a statement.

Frost & Sullivan has also listed Bio Petro Clean under “Customer Value Leadership” in its 2025 award recipients list for “Smart Water Solutions for Pharmaceuticals, India.”

The company works on industrial water and wastewater systems, including effluent treatment plants and zero liquid discharge setups. It also supports high-purity water needs for plants where water quality must stay within strict limits, according to a Frost & Sullivan write-up published as part of the award material.

In its review note, Frost & Sullivan said Bio Petro Clean often upgrades existing treatment plants instead of replacing them. The report describes the company’s work as focused on retrofit engineering and control systems that can be added to running facilities, which can reduce long shutdowns.

Frost & Sullivan’s material and the company’s statement include claims of “up to” gains across some sites, such as higher throughput in retrofitted plants, lower chemical use, and lower sludge disposal costs, depending on plant conditions and the type of treatment train used.

Bhaskar Sharma, CEO of Bio Petro Clean India, said the award reflects a focus on measured outcomes in operating cost and plant performance, and that customers choose the firm for predictable results in day-to-day operations.

The award comes as the Indian industry faces tighter wastewater rules and higher pressure to reuse water inside factories. In an October 2025 note, Frost & Sullivan said investment in India’s industrial water treatment and wastewater filtration market is expected to rise from about $2.87 billion in 2024 to about $4.65 billion by 2030.

As of December 26, 2025, no further public update from Frost & Sullivan or the company has been released beyond the award listing and supporting material.
