New Delhi, January 5, 2026 — Mahindra is set to take the wraps off the XUV 7XO today, a refreshed version of the XUV700 for the Indian market. The company has confirmed that the XUV 7XO will have its world premiere on January 5, 2026, and it has also opened pre-bookings ahead of the reveal.
Mahindra has not shared the full price list yet, and the final variants and colour choices are expected to be confirmed at the event. The current XUV700 is priced between ₹13.66 lakh and ₹23.71 lakh (ex-showroom), and the new model is expected to sit in a similar band, depending on the final lineup.
The XUV 7XO is expected to bring visible changes outside, along with an updated cabin. On the outside, the SUV is likely to get revised lighting elements and new design touches to the front and rear. The cabin is expected to get a fresh dashboard layout and new interior themes, in line with the brand’s newer design direction.
Mahindra’s official page for the XUV 7XO confirms several items that will be offered on the SUV. These include a 540-degree camera, an in-car theatre mode with BYOD support, a Boss Mode function that allows rear passengers to adjust the co-driver seat, ADAS visual alerts, and a Harman Kardon audio system with Dolby Atmos.
Mahindra has also indicated that the XUV700 will move to the XUV 7XO name as part of this change, and it has said XUV700 owners will continue to get service and parts support through authorised service centres even after the new model arrives.
Once the unveiling is done, the SUV is expected to reach showrooms shortly after, with deliveries and test drives expected to follow based on the company’s announced schedule.
