Dhurandhar Box Office Update: Ranveer Singh Film Nears Rs 600 Crore in India on Day 18

Mumbai, December 22, 2025 The spy action film Dhurandhar has continued a strong run at cinemas across India and overseas, closing in on the Rs 600 crore mark in India by its 18th day of release. The movie has added serious sums over the third weekend, keeping audience interest high.

The film, starring Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, and others, earned around Rs 38.50 crore on Sunday after making Rs 34.25 crore on Saturday. These weekend figures helped push total India box office collections to about Rs 555.75 crore after 17 days.

On the global front, the movie has crossed the Rs 800 crore milestone in total earnings. It is moving close to the overall numbers posted by the Kannada hit Kantara: The Legend – Chapter 1, which has a lifetime gross of about Rs 852 crore worldwide. At current rates, Dhurandhar could overtake that figure.

The film has also surpassed the lifetime earnings of some top Hindi movies such as Pathaan and Animal in India, placing it among the most successful releases of the year. It is now counted among the top ten Indian films by box office collection.

Aside from money earned, overseas figures show the movie nearing Rs 200 crore from international markets, a first for a Ranveer Singh film’s foreign earnings. Trade trackers say its worldwide total could cross Rs 1,000 crore if current trends continue.

Dhurandhar opened in India on December 5, 2025, through major studios including Jio Studios and B62 Studios. It is written and directed by Aditya Dhar and follows an undercover mission involving intelligence operations. Critics have generally given mixed to positive feedback, praising performances and production values while noting its length. The sequel, Dhurandhar: Part 2 – Revenge, is set for release on 19 March 2026.

The film’s success comes even as Hollywood tentpole Avatar: Fire and Ash has also drawn crowds globally. In India, however, Dhurandhar has held its ground on third weekend earnings despite competition.

The Ranveer Singh film Dhurandhar remains strong at the box office with continued earnings both in India and overseas. With day-by-day increases and record-breaking totals compared to other big films, it is on track for significant milestones by the end of its theatrical run.
