Maruti Suzuki Share Price Near Record High as Stock Holds Firm Close to 52-Week Peak

Maruti Suzuki India shares traded close to their recent peak on Monday, December 22, as investors kept focus on the company’s sales and earnings updates from the past two months. The stock has been holding near its 52-week high, which was last seen in late October.

On December 22, Maruti Suzuki opened around ₹16,464 on NSE and moved in a tight band during the session, according to market data shown by major trackers. The stock’s 52-week high is listed around ₹16,660 on NSE and ₹16,673.90 on BSE, depending on the exchange data source.

MarketWatch reported that the stock was about 1.94{3ed7819c3563dca85364f9c966d48c284cd3d43c23a196a6bbb99b5b9eebb247} below its 52-week high when it closed at ₹16,349.95 on Tuesday, December 16, and noted the high of ₹16,673.90 was reached on October 23.

Maruti Suzuki reported its financial results for the quarter ended September 2025 on October 31. In that update, the company said quarterly net profit rose to ₹32,931 million from ₹30,692 million a year earlier, while net sales rose to ₹401,359 million from ₹355,891 million. It also reported exports of 110,487 units for the quarter, up 42.2{3ed7819c3563dca85364f9c966d48c284cd3d43c23a196a6bbb99b5b9eebb247}.

In early December, the company also said it sold 229,021 units in November 2025, calling it its highest-ever monthly sales volume.

Industry data also showed demand stayed firm. A report citing SIAM data said Maruti dispatched 170,971 passenger vehicles to dealers in November, up from 141,312 a year earlier.

The stock remains near its peak levels after a strong run over the past year, with investors tracking sales volumes, export growth, and margins. A recent brokerage note said an analyst maintained a “buy” rating and raised the target price to ₹19,000 on December 16, while adjusting volume and margin assumptions.

Maruti Suzuki shares are still trading close to their recent peak as the market weighs the company’s latest quarterly results and record monthly sales. The stock’s next moves are likely to be shaped by upcoming sales trends, margins, and broader market sentiment.
